Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how meetr (“meetr,” “we,” “us”), operated at themeetr.ai, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use our meeting-intelligence service (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic Google profile (name, email address, and profile picture) to create and authenticate your account.
Meeting data
When you connect meetr to a meeting, our recording assistant may join to capture audio, video, and generate a transcript. From that transcript, meetr derives structured knowledge — decisions, action items, questions, and other findings — each linked to the verbatim quote it came from. We store the transcript, the derived knowledge, and associated metadata (meeting title, participants, timestamps).
Integration data
If you connect a third-party tool, we store the access tokens needed to act on your behalf and a record of the items we create or read through that integration.
Usage & technical data
We collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and log events, used for security, debugging, and operating the Service.
2. Google user data
With your consent, meetr requests the following access to your Google account:
- Basic profile and email (
openid,email,profile) — to sign you in and create your account. - Google Calendar events, read-only (
calendar.events.readonly) — to detect your upcoming meetings and the video-conference links attached to those events, so meetr can automatically join and transcribe the meetings you choose. We request only the narrowest event-read scope; we never create, edit, share, or delete your calendar or events, and we do not read your calendar lists, settings, or sharing permissions.
meetr’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google Calendar data is used solely to provide the meeting auto-join feature to you; it is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not transferred to others except as needed to provide the Service, for security, or to comply with law. Google Calendar data is never sent to any AI/ML model or used to train, create, or improve any generalized or foundational AI model.
We do not request or access your Gmail, Google Drive, or contacts. You can revoke meetr’s access at any time via your Google Account permissions.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the Service — record meetings you ask us to, transcribe them, and build your searchable memory.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To create and sync items in integrations you connect.
- To operate, maintain, debug, and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. AI processing
To turn transcripts into structured knowledge, meetr sends meeting content to a third-party AI processing provider. This content is processed to generate summaries and findings for your use. It is not used to train third-party foundation models. Every AI-generated finding is grounded in a verbatim quote from your meeting so you can verify it.
5. Sharing and subprocessors
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition (with notice where required).
6. Data retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete individual meetings and their derived knowledge, or request deletion of your entire account, by contacting us. On account deletion we remove your personal data and meeting content, except where retention is required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address below. You can revoke meetr’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account permissions.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege data handling to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify affected users of a material breach as required by law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice.
